We are continuing our 30 Days of Gratitude! If you missed the scoop about why we’re celebrating, be sure to check out Episode One. Yesterday, we talked about what to do when people fail you. Today, we’re going to be discussing Day Twenty- Four’s topic: Your Day.
As you know, this month’s episodes are all centered around two things: gratitude and my suicide prevention devotional. So, even if you don’t have my book, you have walked through the majority of it by listening to these podcast episodes. My prayer is that you have been blessed by the words you have heard, and that you feel encouraged and inspired daily! Having said that, let’s discuss today’s topic.
In my book, I give the readers a day to write about whatever they want to and to make their own declaration over themselves. In keeping with the spirit of that entry, I’m going to declare this day to be YOUR day.
Today, I want you to do something nice for yourself. It doesn’t even have to be anything major, although it can be. Just be sure to treat yourself in some way. The other thing I want you to do is to look at your life and really think about how awesome you are to have come through everything 2017 has brought to your life. You may not be where you want to be, but you’re here. And that, my friend, is a wonderful thing.
Today I speak life to you. I speak life to your dreams. I speak life to everything you allowed to die that should have never died. I pray that you realize TODAY that you ARE an overcomer, that you ARE more than a conqueror, and that you WILL make it through whatever adversity you’re facing today. If you want a better job, you WILL get one as long as you put forth the effort and expectation. The same goes for schooling, relationships and anything else. Hang in there. It’s gonna get better! Even if you think it’s the best right now, it’s still gonna get better!
Have an amazing day today. Show love to yourself AND others. Be GREAT! I speak life to you and everyone and everything connected to you! Catch me tomorrow!
XOXO,
Na’Kole ♥
